Your policy is already linked to a Product Agreement still it fails to link when you load another commission statement.

If you want to link a product number, but you get the following error message, it means that a Product Agreement for the specific product number is already set up, but it failed for one of the following reasons:

The first (most common) reason is that the valid from date is later than the current statement's date.

You will receive the following error message:

In this example, you’ll notice that there are two statements loaded for July 2020. The product number was previously linked with a Valid From Date of 2020-07-31. When trying to link the product on 2020-07-01, Commspace is unable to locate the preset Agreement, which was dated before or on 2020-07-01.

The solution to this problem:

Deallocate all the statements containing this product number (by using the filter)

Go to Product Agreements, select the Product, then Unlink this Product

Open More Options, change the Valid From date and click Set

Go back to Statements and click on Link to link the product again

This Product will be linked to the policies on all the statements.
