Enforced compliance: effective dates in compliance

When a product is linked, the statement item adopts an effective date: the date of which the compliant product is payable to the adviser.

This is part of our premium features package.

Effective Dates are automatically set by Commspace during linking. The effective date is determined by looking at the statement date.

  1. If the statement is not finalized, the effective date of the statement item will adopt the statement date.

  2. If the statement is finalized or partially finalized, the effective date of the statement item will adopt the first date of the next open financial period.

This is to ensure no commission figures are changed in a finalized period.
