Start by navigating to Statements, then click on Import button:

Download a copy of our Generic Excel Statement Template by clicking on the link:

Complete the template with the information you want to import.
NB: Don’t change any of the column header names or remove any columns.
There are additional columns that can optionally be added to the template (please contact us to help you getting started with this), e.g.:

  • Client ID number

  • Responsible Partner

  • Inception Date etc

Once you've completed all the information on the statement, you can import it like any other provider statement 👍

Important points to remember

The following fields are compulsory for each row:

  • Policy Number

  • Client

  • Commission Type

  • Premium (specify 0 if not applicable)

  • Fees (specify 0 if not applicable)

  • Commission (incl. VAT)

  • VAT (specify zero if there is no VAT in the item)

  • Total Income (incl. VAT)

In addition, the following rules must be applied:

  • Fees + Commission (incl. VAT) must equal Total Income (incl. VAT)

  • Nett Income (excl. VAT) + VAT must equal Total Income (incl. VAT)

Tip: You are welcome to use Excel formulas in the template.

You can find a list of the accepted spelling for the product categories and commission types in your office settings:

If you find that you have statements in electronic format, but the columns are constantly not showing correctly (in separate columns) have a look at the Article named "Commission Statements in wrong format".
