Individual unlinked reports

Create individual unlinked reports per adviser, to send a report to the adviser to fill without seeing other adviser's client details, or without having to manually split the unlinked report.

When creating an unlinked report as per usual, expand "Options" to reveal "Individual reports". By toggling this to "Yes", it will create a zip folder with adviser's individual unlinked report.

Commspace will use the Adviser Name or Broker Code from the statement to determine which adviser each unlinked item belongs to.

Commspace uses the following logic to decide which items appear on each adviser’s report:

  1. Partner Provider Code Match – If a partner provider code is linked to Partner A, the item will appear on Partner A’s unlinked report.

  2. Partner Alias Match – If the statement’s partner name matches a partner alias, it will appear on that partner’s report.

  3. Partner Name Match – If no match is found using the above methods, Commspace will attempt to match the exact partner name on the statement to a partner name in Commspace.

Important notes

  • If the partner provider code is linked to multiple partners (e.g., Partner A and Partner B), the unlinked item will appear on both partners’ unlinked reports.

  • If a provider code matches Partner A but the statement name matches Partner B, the item will only appear on Partner A’s report.

  • Code matches are provider-specific (e.g., Discovery Health vs. Discovery Life require separate codes).

  • If no match is found, the item won’t appear on any individual report but will show on the combined Unlinked Report.
