Discovery commission statements

How to navigate the portal and download the required commission statements to import into Commspace.

How to navigate to all commission statements:

(This applies to all except Discovery Bank)

Step 1: Log into your Discovery Portfolio.

Step 2: Ensure you're on the “Advisor 360” profile and not on your personal profile:

Step 3: Select the ‘Menu’ on the top left corner:

Step 4: Select “Commissions”, scroll down to “Reports” and select “Broker house EFT Summary

Step 5: After selecting “Broker house EFT Summary” you will be directed to a page where you need to specify certain criteria to get the report you are looking for.

Information needed to pull the correct report:

  • Type of product (Health/Life, etc)

  • Health Product, if applicable

  • Report date type (statement month is usually sufficient)

  • Month - (this month / last month)


Discovery Bank

Step 1: Select “Commissions” and select “Commission Paid”.

You will be directed to a page where you need to specify certain criteria to get the report you are looking for.

Step 2: Once you have selected “Bank” and the “Effective Month” (date range you require on your statement), select “Show report” to download.


Discovery Insure

The ideal statement (that contains commissions and fees individually) cannot be downloaded from the portal. It needs to be sourced directly from the provider.

For Insure Detailed you need to ask for the "Detailed Insured Breakdown Report" from the provider.


Discovery Health

The ideal statement (that contains group schemes) should be requested directly from the provider and will be sourced as an EFT statement.
